UMKC Summer Debate Institute - 2010

Middle School Camp

UMKC offers a 1-week middle school day camp for students grades 6-8. This will offer an introduction to debate as well as experience-appropriate skills development. We will teach the basics of policy debate using the NFL topic. The instructors will work with each student to ensure that they learn skills appropriate to their level of experience. The students will participate in at least 2 debates by the end of the camp.

 

The Middle School Day Camp runs from 9AM to 5PM Monday-Friday. These students may not stay in the residence hall. Lunch will be provided each day.
