Registration Information

Registration is 3:00 - 5:00 pm on Sunday, July 20. 

All Commuters and Residents need to come to Registration.

Registration is in the lobby of the Oak Street Dormitory on UMKC's Campus. The address is:

Please bring a SIGNED copy of your institute-participant agreement (included with this mailing) as well as any parental permission slips to registration.  Please let me know if you need to make different arrangements for your arrival.

Commuter Meal Plans:

Commuter Meal Plan - $170

This gives you all lunches and dinners throughout the camp. Only Commuters need to purchase meal plans, it is included in the tuition for residents.

The cost for commuters without the meal plan is $6 per lunch and $6.50 for dinner. The meal plan is a very slight savings, but is mostly meant for convenience.

College Credit:

Students can earn college credit for participating in the UMKC Summer Debate Institute. Students can receive up to 3 hours of UMKC credit at a greatly reduced rate of $75 per credit hour. There are many benefits of earning college credit while in high school, including reducing the financial and time requirements of college, preparing a solid resume with good credentials and becoming eligible for scholarships at UMKC that you otherwise would not be eligible for.
